Start A Mailing List

If you want to see an increase in your internet marketing efforts one of the best things that you can do is to start a mailing list by collecting email addresses.

You can do this quite easily by colleting the email addresses of your website visitors.

To collect the email addresses of your website visitors you can add a “subscribe” form to your website and offer your visitors a free report, gift, eBook, video, subscription to your newsletter, eCourse, etc. in exchange for their name and email address.

An eCourse or Newsletter gives you several chances to make further contact with the subscriber. The Newsletter also gives your subscribers a chance to get to know and trust you and gives you a chance to gain a group of loyal readers.

In addition to subscribing the next step is to protect both you and your subscriber by using an opt-in list. Once your website visitor has subscribed to your website they will then need to confirm their subscription and that is where the opt-in list comes into play.

An opt-in list reassures you that your subscriber’s did actually opt-in to subscribe to your website mailing list and that there was no “Spamming” involved.

By using an opt-in list you will also be sending your messages, information, advertisements and sales letters to subscribers who have chosen to receive them from you and those who are apt to make a purchase from you.

It is much easier and even more cost effective to get someone who has already bought one product from you to buy another product and you can gain one new customer at a time using the mailing list and opt-in method.

Make sure that your website is personalized and customized in such a way that it makes your customers fell cared for, safe and secure.

Put your subscriber’s minds at ease by ensuring them that once you get their email address you will not disclose it to any third party companies and inform them of some of the benefits they will receive by being a subscriber.

One example of a benefit they would receive could be that discounts, coupons, free gifts, etc. will only be made available to them as a subscriber via email notification.

If you gain access to or produce your own good quality product that can be useful and beneficial to your subscriber it is OK to offer it to them for sell.

Once you have started a mailing list, make sure you always provide useful and good quality information to your subscribers and make sure that you don’t overwhelm them with a lot of sales messages.
